FlipLedger (“we”, “our”, or “the App”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the FlipLedger mobile application.
1. About FlipLedger
FlipLedger is an inventory, sales, expense, and profit tracking application designed primarily for resellers and small businesses.
The App allows users to manage inventory, record sales and expenses, attach product photos, view business reports, export data, and create or restore backups.
2. Information You Enter Into the App
Depending on how you use FlipLedger, you may enter information such as:
- Product names, categories, quantities, prices, and notes
- Sales and expense records
- Product photos selected or captured by you
- Other business-related information you choose to enter
This information is used only to provide the features of the App.
3. Data Storage
FlipLedger primarily stores your business data locally on your device.
We do not operate a cloud account system for storing your FlipLedger inventory, sales, expense, or profit records unless a future version of the App clearly introduces such a feature.
If you export or back up your data, you control where the exported or backup files are stored and shared.
4. Photos and Device Access
FlipLedger may request access to your camera, photos, files, or storage when necessary for features such as:
- Adding photos to inventory items
- Selecting existing product images
- Exporting data
- Creating or restoring backups
These permissions are used only when required to provide the feature you choose to use.
5. Purchases
FlipLedger may offer optional paid features or a Pro upgrade through Google Play.
Purchases are processed by Google Play. FlipLedger does not directly collect or store your full payment card or banking information.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not share the business information you enter into FlipLedger with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
Information may be processed by platform providers such as Google when necessary to provide Google Play services, purchases, security, or other platform functionality, subject to their own privacy policies.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to design FlipLedger so that user information is handled securely.
Because locally stored data remains on your device, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and keeping appropriate backups of important information.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Data stored locally by FlipLedger remains on your device until you delete it through the App, clear the App's data, or uninstall the App, depending on the applicable feature and Android behavior.
Backup or exported files that you create may remain in the location you selected until you delete them yourself.
9. Children's Privacy
FlipLedger is intended as a business and productivity application and is not specifically designed for children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through an account or cloud service operated by FlipLedger.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when FlipLedger's features or privacy practices change.
